Just Cruisin'

Happy Friday!

It's time for another challenge at Flaunt It Fridays. For Challenge #21 we are Flaunting the car on p. 24 of the Nifty Fifties cartridge. If you don't have this cartridge just use any car cut that your may have.

I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do with this cut but once I chose my paper I knew it would make a perfect guy card. You all know how hard those can be to create!

I took a few pictures to try and get the best one but with the sheen on my cardstock that was not so easy. Combine that with cloudy skies, well you get the picture.

Here is one of the inside just so you can see what it says.

The details:
Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge
Tim Holtz ~ Paper Stash Vintage Shabby
Ribbon
White Gelly Roll Pen
Black Ribbon
Everything inked in Black

Head on over the Flaunt It Fridays to see what my fellow designers have made for you. Then join us in Flaunting your stuff.

For this month's Grand Prize we are giving away a Joy's Life "Lot's of Pun" stamp set sponsored by the wonderful SHEREE Cravin Scrappin thank you Sheree!

The more you challenges you participate in the more chances you have to win!

Can't wait to see what you all create!

Have a great weekend
and

World's Greatest Mom

Hi There! I hope you all are having a great week. I have a card to share with you today. I made this card for Peachy Keen LFIF Challenge #13. Nothing like getting it in under the wire, Right? The challenge is Mother's Day and you must use a PK face. (I am too late ) I am also submitting this to Scrapbookaholic By Abby Challenge #4 Anything for Mother's Day and Faux stitching and Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #11 Mother's Day.

I finally got the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge! I have been wanting this cart for months. It has the most adorable cuts on it. (sorry about the picture quaility, we have been getting storms for days)
A peek of the inside.

A close up of the Peachy face. I used PK-532 Simple Sallies 1 1/8 set. I also put some Ranger Glossy Accents on her glasses.

A few other details:

Patterned paper ~ Echo Park A Walk in the Park and Heidi Grace Designs
Fiscars Punches
Brads for buttons

Mums The Word

Happy Monday!

It's time for another challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week "Challenge Me Monday" is Moms the Word. Use the word mom, mother, mum on a project. This is a great challenge to get a head start on your Mother's Day cards. After all, Mother's Day is May 8th. I definately took the opportunity to make a card for my mother-in-law.

I love making shaped cards and decided that the pitcher with flowers from Country Life would make a pretty card. Here is another pic from a different angle.

I love to add a little decorative paper inside to give it a finished look. I cut the flowers twice and pop-dotted them for a little added dimension. I also made faux chipbord letters. I cut 2 layers out of cereal boxes and one layer out of patterned paper. I guess my card would be considered a faux shaped card, too. I just cut 2 shadow layers and scored one at the top. I, then, use my atg on the top portion of the scroed layer and adhere both layers together. I really like this method because you don't get flattened shapes.

Here is what was used:
Country Life Cricut cartridge ~ All cuts
DCWV Rustic Stack
Ranger Distress Ink ~ Tea Dye
Recollection Gems
Hemp
White Gelly Roll Pen

Please go check out all the fantabulous creations that my fellow design team members have for you over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. You are sure to be inspired.

Join us in creating this week. I can't wait to see what you all do!

Easter Blessings

Happy Easter, my crafty friends!

I hope you day has been filled with many wonderful family memories. I know for my family it has been both fun and relaxing.

I love that this is a day set aside to remember the resurrection of my Savior. I don't ever want to lose that feeling of awe for what he has done for me and for mankind. I pray that if you don't know Him as your Lord and Savior that you will one day accept his free gift of salvation.

Since this is such a special day I wanted to make one last card. This card is just so sweet. You see, I just got Kate's ABCs and the cuts remind me so much of my girls. So here is one last Easter card.
Isn't this cut just the sweetest!

Here are the details:
Kate's ABC's Cricut Cartridge ~ All cuts
Scrappy Moms Stamps ~ Spring Fling
Echo Park cardstock ~ A Walk in the Park
Orange Peel Stickles
Diamond Stickles
White Gelly Roll Pen
Distress Ink ~ Tea Dye
Ribbon

I'll see you all tomorrow with another project for "Challenge Me Monday" at

Until then...

Winner of FCCB "Spring Fling" Cricut Crawl

Good Afternoon, Everyone.

Before I announce the winner I would ask everyone to please pray for the people in my neighboring communities. Yesterday our area was hit by a devastating tornado. Our home sustained no damage and I saw the Lord's protection on my family. My daughter was to get off work at 4 PM yesterday and my son was picking her up. My daughter had to work an extra 10 minutes. If she had gotten off work at her appointed time she and my son would have been in the path of the tornado. I am praising my Lord and Savior today. We were without power for about 20 hours and just got it back this afternoon. So, please take a moment and pray for the families of Fayetteville, NC. As many have lost thier homes.

Now for the winner of the FCCB Cricut Crawl:

Carol  7

Gorgeous treat cartons! super fun to give as gifts. TFS

Congratulations,Carol! Please contact me at Luvscrappingtogether at gmail dot com with your mailing address.

If I do not hear from Carol by Wednesday, April 20th, I will choose a new winner.

Good Morning, Everyone! I am so excited today. Why? You may ask. Well, let me tell you. You see, I am this month's Tacky Tuesdays guest designer. I am so thrill that Ruthie from September Ninth asked me. If you are not familiar with the Tacky Tuesday Challenge let me tell it is so fun! This challenge is actually a Facebook challenge. It always involves a certain cut and some type of play on words. It is sooo Punny!

This month's challenge is to use any cow cut whether it be a Cricut cut or SVG. You also must use either the words "Moo" or "Udder" somewhere on the project. Here is my take on the challenge:

FCCB Spring Fling Cricut Crawl

Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together and the fifth Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!

It's Spring Time, even though some places may not look like it :) and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to have a Spring Fling! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original spring project that includes Pink, Green and Yellow on it along with at least one Cricut cut.

If you've come from visiting Sarah at Sarah’s Stamping and Stuff, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE.

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Spring Fling" project at FCCB!

How fun is that!

For my project I created some mini milk cartons that could be filled with jelly beans, robin’s eggs, or any type of treat. Now, I must confess that I forgot that our challenge was to used pink, green, and yellow. Oops! I know these would be so cute in those colors, too!

I really love how these turned out!

Here are the details:

Cricut Cartridges ~ Simply Charmed (flower), Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More (tags), Gypsy Wanderings (scallop and circle)
Milk Carton SVG file from Lettering Delights
Egg Chick SVG from My Scrap Chick
Sentiment ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps Spring Fling
Patterned Paper ~ My Mind’s Eye Where the Heart Is
Fiscars Punch
Star Dust Stickles

Before you go I would love to give away a brand new stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps. These are the same stamps I used in my project.
Before I tell you how you can win these stamps I need to tell you how I came to have this extra set. A few days before the release of Spring Fling I had ordered a set of stamps from Scrappy Moms. Well, when they released the Spring Fling set I ordered those. When I received my stamps I discovered that Mel and Tammy sent me 2 sets of the Spring Fling set. I contacted them and told them what had happened. Instead of having me send back the extra set they told me to keep them and they sent me the other set I had ordered. They were wonderful! So because they allowed me to keep the extra set I get to pass them on to one of you.
All you need to do to win these stamps is leave me a comment on this post with a way for me to contact you. You don’t have to be a follower but I would love it if you would. You have until Saturday, April 16, 12 midnight EST to comment. I will choose the winner via Random.org Sunday.

I also have another giveaway going on. You find the details—HERE.

Now it's your turn! Let's see your Spring Fling projects! Make sure to include a Cricut cut somewhere on your project and Pink, Green and Yellow!

Next stop...Tamara's blog, Happy Life Crafty Wife. Go see what she has in store for you today... And when you're done, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!

Happy Crawling!

Giveaway is now closed.
