Just For You ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a cute card that was made with product from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I found this cute pumpkin teapot file from KaDoodle Bug Designs and knew I wanted to make a card with it. I got out my papers from My Mind's Eye Happier 6x6 paper pad and some scraps from Echo Park Paradise Beach and put this cutie together. For some texture I ran my orange pieces through my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I added a Jute bow with a hand-cut tag that was stamped with a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Mini Messages set.

For the inside of my card I created a pocket with some more of these cute My Mind's Eye papers. I added a rick rack border to the pocket using the Chevron/Rick Rack die from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I though a packet of Chia tea would be perfect to pass on to a friend.

You can still find some great papers and embellishments at Shop Pumpkin Spice and the Pumpkin Spice Ebay store. Go check out these fun items and so much more.

Come back Saturday to see what all the designers have created for the Shop Pumpkin Spice Monthly Blog Hop!

Thank you for joining me today.

Until next time...

Jeepers! ~ with My Scrap Chick

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I have a card for you that features files from My Scrap Chick.

To create this card I started with the Pumpkin Box file. I placed it on my Silhouette mat so that it would only cut out the top part of the box. I cut this once in flesh toned cardstock and once in white. I added the cute scientist from the Halloween Treatbag Toppers and Cards file. I sized it so that it would fit over the pumpkin top.

My test tubes come from the newest released file Science Lab

To finish off my card, added a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Bewitched" set.

There are so many wonderful files at My Scrap Chick. You must check them out!

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...

Tulle Halloween Wreath

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I thought I would share something a little different with you. My project doesn't involve paper or stamps but it does have ribbon!

This is a wreath that I made to put on my front door this year. It is not my idea but when I saw a similar wreath on the Our Best Bites blog I knew I wanted to make one. The wreath consists of a 8 inch styrofoam wreath form, black tulle, silk flowers, feathers, and ribbon with a black bird and a few spiders for a little extra creepiness. I love the way the wreath turned out. It's spooky yet classy at the same time.

Here is a closer look at the ribbon roses and embellishments.

You can find all the directions HERE.

Just a few more things to share:

Today begins the Peachy Keen Stamps/KaDoodle Bug Designs Cross Promo Facebook Page Hop.

I will have something to share on My Facebook Page tomorrow but you can start this hop today beginning on the KaDoodle Bug Designs Facebook Page.

Also, tomorrow Scrappy Moms Stamps and Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons is having a Cross Promo Blog Hop. I have a cute project to share with you for that, also!

There's a lot going on and I hope you can join in on the fun!

This svg file is from SVG Cutting Files called Coffin Treat Pocket. They were super easy to put together so I made several.

I used patterned paper from K&Company and my sentiment and the stamped cobwebs are from Scrappy Moms Stamps Bewitched set.

I had these Halloween Rice Krispy Treats in the house and thought they were the perfect treat!

It's Halloween Time! ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today's Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps is all about Halloween.

For my project I decorated a gift bag with a little something to go inside.

I took a glassine bag and decorated it to hold a notepad and pencil.

For my bag, I took the small spiderweb stamp from SMS Bewitched set and randomly stamped it using black Archival waterproof ink. Stazon would, also, work for this. I punched a strip if black cardstock  and layered it with a strip of white. I stamped a sentiment from SMS Love at First Bite and added a spider to the center of the bag.

I decorated my small notepad using the Bat Tag file from My Scrap Chick. The fun googly eyes are from Joann's. I thought they were really fun! The sentiment on the tablet is from SMS Bewitched set. I added some baker's twine, available at Scrappy Moms Stamps, to the top to finish it off.

We would love to see your Halloween projects. You can link up at Scrappy Moms Stamps!

Thank you for joining me today.

Until next time...

EEK! with My Scrap Chick

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am back with another fun project using the Franken-Tastic file from My Scrap Chick.

Isn't this banner cute! I thought the scallop shape from the Easel Card Assortment would make a great base for my banner.

My letters and bats all came from the Bat Halloween Tag. The spider web and spider is from the Franken-Tastic file. I added stitching with my sewing machine to all the banner pieces. The sentiment on this piece is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Bewitched!" set.

For this banner section I added the banner and pumpkins from the Franken-Tastic file. The faces on the pumpkins are from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-293 The Cornies Face Assortment.

For the last section of my banner I added Frankie, the spider web, and the sentiment shape from the Franken-Tastic file from My Scrap Chick.

Frankie's face was stamped from PK-690 Make a Monster Face Assortment and my sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Love At First Bite!"

All my pieces were inked to bring some definition. My patterned papers are from K&Company.

Other items used:

Black Diamond Stickles ( spider webs )
Baker's Twine
Black Toulle
Studio G Brad
Googly Eyes
Buttons

Make sure to head on over to My Scrap Chick to see all the wonderful cut files that are available.

I hope you enjoyed my project as much as I enjoyed putting it together!

I used a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Full Cup Treat Holders. I filled a clear bag with a packet of hot cocoa and some Hershey Kisses and tied it off with a ribbon.

The tag is from my Silhouette library. I stamped my sentiment and added a little doodling. This came together fast which is good because I am making several to take to a craft fair with me this weekend.

I Want Candy! ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing inspiration on the Pumpkin Spice Blog using products found at Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I decided to get out an older Halloween line from My Mind's Eye. This Black Bird Collection has some really fun papers.

I used a cute file from Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbons called Happy Pumpkin Treat Bag.

This came out really cute even though my sentiment is crooked. I would have made another since this was so easy to put together but I didn't have enough orange paper. *Note to self: Stamp my sentiment before putting the box together! :) My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "A Haunting We Will Go!"

There is a pumpkin challenge going on right now. Hurry and link up your pumpkin projects HERE.

Thanks for joining me today!

Franken-Tastic with My Scrap Chick

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am so excited! Today is my first official day of posting as a My Scrap Chick designer!!

If you have been watching the My Scrap Chick Facebook Page I am sure you have been seeing some fun project using the Franken-Tastic file. This is such a fun file with which to play!

Take a look:

For my project I combined the Franken-Tastic file and the Sunflower Greetings file to make a cute little gift set. I cut all my pieces with my Silhouette Cameo. The treat box was designed to to hold note cards but I thought it would be perfect for a treat.

Instead of using the face parts that come in the Franken-Tastic file, I wanted to use a face from Peachy keen Stamps. I used Pk-690 Make a Monster Assortment for Frankie's eyes and the spider's face. (Sorry, I didn't get a good picture of the spider.) PK-691 Make A Monster 1 1/8 set was used for Frankie's nose and mouth.

My pumpkins were stamped with PKSC-09 September 2012 and PK-550 Pumpkin Faces.

The base and black layer of my card is from My Scrap Chick's Sunflower Greetings. I used element from the Franken-Tastic set to created a spooky card, well not really spooky!

All my patterned papers came from My Mind's Eye Black Bird collection. This is an oldie but a goodie!

I hope you like my spooky project today.

You can get these files and many more from My Scrap Chick!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Until next time...

I Like the Way You Roll ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps October Release

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing another project using a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps October release.

I made a super simple little gift set. I chose paper from Echo Park's Little Boy collection and warped it around some Rolo's and added a bow. Then I made a coordinating card. I chose the same patterned paper and ribbon. My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Candy Grams!" set. The bottom of my card was punch with a Fiscars pun and a wood veneer car was added to finish things off.

Have a look at this fun new set:

You can find this set in the Scrappy Moms Stamps store.

Make sure to visit all the design team blogs for lots of inspiration featuring the new sets for this month.

I have more to share so make sure to come back.

Until next time...

Whopper of a Great Day ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps October Release

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today Scrappy Moms Stamps is releasing 2 new sentiment sets.

I think you are going to love them as much as the design team does!

First let me show you my project and then I will reveal the stamps.

For my project, I used a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Candy Grams!" set. This set is so fun!! It has sentiments that go with many of our favorite candies but many of the sentiments could, also, be used for other purposes.

I chose to use the sentiment in the obvious way by creating a box using the Milk Carton file from My Scrap Chick. Before I assembled the box, I punch a whole in the front to create a window. I added a piece of clear plastic on the inside then put the box together. Before sealing it up added some Whopper Balls. It was super easy!

Don't you just love this sentiment!! So fun!

Now here's a look at the newest stamps from Scrappy Moms Stamps:

Guess what? You don't have to wait to get your hands on these new stamps!

Both sets are in stock and ready to ship!! WooHoo!

Over the next week the design team will be showcasing these stamps, along with our October Guest Designer Jessica from Passion 4 Crafting. So, be on the look out for some fun projects!

Now head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to get your stamps!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 10/9 - 11:59 pm EST

Here is what I created for you:

I really loved the blues tones in the photo so I went with it.

I decided to create a shaker card today. I haven't done that in a very long time!

For the focal point I stamped the jar from the newest Peachy Keen Stamps soon to be released PK-1338 Clear Canning Quart Jar. The jar was stamped 3 times, twice on cardstock and once on vellum. I trimmed the center from one of my cardstock images and adhered the layers together. Before I sealed it up I added some sequins from Neat and Tangled Winter Wonderland Sequin Mix.

I colored my jar with Copic markers as well as the pinecone and pine branches. The pinecone and branches are from PK-1341 Clearly Autumn Pint Jar Contents. I wanted a little sparkle on my pinecone so I touched all the edges with my Spica pen.

The background of my card was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Embossing folder and the ribbon is from my stash.

The sentiment comes from PK-1341 Clearly Autumn Pint Jar Contents. These sets are so fun to play with and I can't wait to make a few more projects from them.

We would love for you to join us in the challenge. Head on over to the Peachy Keen Challenge Forum for all the details!

Sunflower Thank You ~ Peachy Keen Stamps October Sneak Peek

Hi there, Peachy Fans!

Tonight I am sharing another sneak of the newest Peachy Keen Stamps release for October!!

My design team sisters have been making some marvelous projects and I am sure you all are just as excited as as we were to get your hands on these new stamps!!

Angelica created the stamps this month and she did an amazing job! This months stamps are all about fall but many of the images and sentiments can be used throughout the year.

My card today has a rustic look to it and I love it!

I wanted to try water coloring with Distress markers so this is my first attempt at it. The images I used today are from PKSC-22 October 2013.  I stamped the crate and sunflowers on water color paper then fussy cut it out and popped it up with foam tape.

I chose papers from DCWV The Pumpkin Patch Stack. This is a 6x6 paper pad that I picked up at Joann Fabrics.

There is a small dotted line included in the stamp set this month and I used it to create a border around my image. All my papers were distressed with my distressing tool. I added a ribbon to finish it off.

You can head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to see even more sneak peeks from design team sisters.

Thanks for stopping!

Until next time...

Have a Cool Yule! ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a little inspiration her and over on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I had a lot of fun making this cute winter card!

I started with a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Cute Winter Faces. I thought this cute little penguin would be even cuter using some patterned papers from My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland 6x6 paper pad.

I added some MME Winter Wonderland Twine this his hat and topped it with a coordinating brad. I added a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps A Holiday to Remember and my card was complete.

These papers were released last year and have been one of my favorite Christmas/winter papers! Guess what? They are still available at Shop Pumpkin Spice AND they are on sale!!

You can check out the Pumpkin Spice Blog HERE

I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Until next time...

Angelica created this month's stamps and they are absolutely fabulous!! This set gets me in the mood for fall.

My card was created using stamps from PKSC-22 October 2013. I stamped the bushel basket and apples on water color paper and then water colored them with Distress markers. I think I am loving the water color look. So fun!!

I fussy cut my image and popped it on my card base. The card base was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder. I added some patterned paper from Simple Stories Harvest Lane 6x6 paper pad, some hemp cord and button from my stash.

The sentiment is also from PKSC-22 October 2013 set. It was heat embossed with white opaque embossing powder.
