Happy Bark Day!

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a project that I created for the current Paper Smooches Designer Drafts challenge.

I haven't participated in any challenges for a while and thought this would be fun!

This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.

I decided to create a tag.

For my tag I used the cute little dog and sentiment from Paper Smooches "Birthday Buddies" set.

I colored my puppy with Copic markers and heat embossed the sentiment and little stars with white embossing powder.

Other items used:

Echo Park Bundle of Joy Boy 6x6 paper pad
Washi Tape
Fiscars edge punch
The Twinery Baker's Twine
Ribbon
Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo

I hope you like my tag as much as I had fun putting it together! You can join in the challenge HERE.

Thank you for joining me today.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

All Aboard! ~ with Scrappy Moms Stamps & My Scrap Chick

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge is "Things that Go."

I thought it would be fun to put together the 3D Train from My Scrap Chick and make it a Birthday Train!

This took some time to put together but I love the result!

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release "Ready, Set, Go!"  I, also, used Scrappy Moms Stamps Chevron and Rick Rack die to accent the train.

The second car for the 3D Train from My Scrap Chick is the perfect size to carry a cupcake or a sweet little gift.

You can even tuck gifts inside the engine and the caboose.

Check out Scrappy Moms Stamps challenge and join in the fun! We want to see all your "Things That Go!"

My train is being featured on the My Scrap Chick fan page on Facebook. Make sure you head over there to see daily inspiration. Check out all the fun cut files at My Scrap Chick. There is a wonderful sale happening right now!!

Thank you for joining me today!!

Until next time...

Sail Away with Me... ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps February Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am featuring another card using the newest stamps from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

This card features a sentiment from "Sail Away!"

My little boat and steering wheel are cut files that I purchased from the Silhouette store.

I cut the steering wheel 3 times then layered them together for a chipboard look. The clouds and hearts were both punched with Fiscar punches.

My paper is from an older line from Echo Park called A Boy's Life. I think I've used every patterned this paper pad has and now there is nothing but scraps left!

Here's a look at both of the newest sets from Scrappy Moms Stamps:

Both of these sets are in stock and ready to ship. You can find them HERE.

Come back tomorrow for another Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge and another look at one of these new sets of stamps!

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...

Teddy Bear Hugs ~ Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 14-02

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today begins a new challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps

For this challenge we have a photo for inspiration.

The challengeCreate a project using the photo as inspiration. Interpret the photo ANY way you’d like, just be  sure to let us in on your creative process! The colors next to the photo are only suggested!

The Guidelines:
Design must be new
Link up by 2/27 – 11:59 pm EST

I was inspired by the colors and patterns so here is what I created.

I created a gift card holder using my Silhouette software. These cute little bears come from PK-1372 Teddy Bear Love. This set was released this month and it is so cute!! I paper-pieced these adorable bears. I kept my layout pretty clean as I really wanted the colors to pop.

This set is part of Peachy Keen Stamps Hot Deals. It will be on sale for a special price until the end of the month. Don't you want to add it to your collection?  :)

Make sure to check out the Challenge Forum over at Peachy Keen Stamps so you can see all the wonderful inspiration the design team has created. Then get your Peachy Keen Stamps and join in the challenge!!
Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...

Peachy Keen Stamps February Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Whoo Hoo!  The day has finally arrived!!
Our February Release Blog Hop is officially underway and we are thrilled to bring you the latest designs that are now available in our shop!
If you’re a subscriber to our Stamp of the Month club, then you’ve already received a little background about how this release came about, but for those who might not yet be subscribers, here’s a little more about this release in Kathy’s own words…
There is a reason behind
this mixed theme.  My only grand-daughters are moving to Florida with their parents.
My daughter and son-in-law gave me this news just as I was pulling ideas together for February.  It took over my mind and soon it all kind of CLICKED!
A labor of love and from the heart, the designs this month will be perfect for so many of your creative projects that we can’t begin to name them all.
You should have arrived here from Jessica's Blog.  If not, you’ll want to make sure you hop back to Peachy Keen Stamps’ Blog to start from the beginning! Missed a stop? Don’t worry, the PKS has the full hop order!

For my project today, I decided to make a gift box shaped like a house. I started with a cut file from My Scrap Chick and modified it a bit with my Silhouette. I used several different sets from February's release.

Here you can see a front view of the house.

And here is a side view.

The bottom of the box opens to hold a small gift.

Here is what I used to create this box:

Fiscars Scallop Punch ( curtain valance )
Fiscars Grass Punch

Here are photos of all the projects I have made with this release:
