Teacher Gift Card Holder ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps March Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing another project featuring a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release "Terrific Teachers!"

I created this envelope in my Silhouette Design Studio with some basic shapes. I sized so that it would be the perfect size to hold a gift card.

The target on the front was also created in the Silhouette Design Studio with just some basic circles. The arrow was a free download from the Silhouette store some time ago. I cut the arrow three times and layered them on top of one another so that it would have a chipboard feel to it.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Terrific Teachers!" set. With the end of school coming near this the the perfect set to have on hand for all that cards and gifts you will want to create.

Here is the back of the gift card holder. I have my template saved so that I can vary the shape of my flap.

The flap is being kept closed with Super Strong Magnetic Disks that are now being carried by Scrappy Moms Stamps.

In this picture I wanted you to see how I covered the magnets. I just used Ranger Glossy Accents to adhere them and that seems to be holding the magnets securely.

These new Scrappy Moms Stamps products are available for purchase and ready to ship.

Here is a look at the products I used:

Hurry over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to get these new products and while you are there check out all the wonderful stamps they have to offer!

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...

Hoppy Easter ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps March Release

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am back to share a cute little tag that I made to go with my previous post.

The tag is from a cut file from My Scrap Chick's Fall Tree Tag.

I wish I could tell you where I got the bunny. I've had this cut file since 2011 and I am just unable to find the source. It's a cutie with that Peachy Keen Stamps Sweet On You face.

Here's a look at all the fun sentiments on the new Scrappy Mom Stamps For Peeps Sake set.

There are so many great sentiments for the Easter season!

You can find this set, along with many more, HERE.

Favorite Peep ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps March Release

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today Scrappy Moms Stamps is releasing to brand new sets of stamps and you are surely going to love them.

I made a cute little tag with the new For Peeps Sake set.

My 24 year old son has always loved marshmallow peeps so when I saw the peeps on a stick I had to buy them!

This little tag was created using my Silhouette and a background shape I purchased from the Silhouette store. The little peep is from SVG Cutting Files Cup Cake Chick Slide Card. I glittered it up with some Martha Stewart glitter and added some black cardstock to the back so the eye would show up.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps For Peeps Sake set.

Here's a look at the entire set:

This is the cutest set. So perfect for all your Easter themed projects!  There is also made a coordinating shadows SVG file - you can download it HERE.

Here's a look at the new Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Teachers set:

This set will help you show your appreciation to all the teachers who do such a great job with your little ones! Click HERE for the shadows SVG flie for Terrific Teachers.

 * Note: Make sure to have actual size selected when you import the SVG files into your cutting program. *

Our super Design Team, including out March Guest Designer - Brianna from Happy Scrapper, will have new projects using these two new sets all this week.

Scrappy Moms Stamps is, also,  happy to announce that they are now stocking Super Strong Magnetic Disks in our store.  They are great for projects that need to close securely, such as gift card holders, treat boxes and shaped boxes (like purses).

Please note - these magnets are very strong.  The easiest way to separate them is so slide them apart. They can break if dropped on a hard surface and are not meant for use by children!

I will be showing casing these sets over the coming week and hope you will be back to see what I have created!

The new stamps and these fun magnets are available for purchase in the Scrappy Moms Stamps Store. Hurry to get yours!!

A Star is Born ~ with Scrappy Moms Stamps

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is the start of a new Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge

This new challenge is "All That Glitters!"

I decided to make another shaker card.

For my card, I took some midnight blue card stock and used some star dies to create my windows. I wanted a little texture so I ran my cardstock through my Big Shot with the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder. For some shine I sprayed it with some sparkle.

Here is a picture showing a bit more shine.

I filled my windows with some yellow sequins and added a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Life's A Circus!"

Here is a look at this fun stamps set:

We want to see your "All that Glitters" projects so be sure to link them up on the Scrappy Moms Stamps Blog.

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...

Easter Treat Bags ~ Face Day with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It is Fabulous Face Day at Peachy Keen Stamps and it is my turn to share on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.

I just love how Peachy Keen Faces bring die cut to life and give them such character. In fact, my very first Peachy Keen Stamps purchase was the classic PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment. After that I was hooked!

I made these cute Easter Treat Bags and combined each animal with a face from a different set.

These adorable little treat bags come from the Sweet Animal Treat Bags cut file from My Scrap Chick.
These bags have a back to them, too.

Aren't they cute!!

Here is a picture of each one.

The face on this bunny is from PK- Teddy Bear Face Assortment.

For my chick, I used PK-1373 Chickie Face Assortment.

Lastly, for my lamb I used PK-1358 Sweet On You 1 1/8th Faces.

A few tips to make you faces look even better.
  • Use a white gel pen to color in the whites of the eyes
  • Try adding some color around the pupil
  • For some shine, add some Ranger Glossy Accents
  • Use chalk for the cheeks

I hope you enjoyed seeing how Peachy Keen Stamps faces can bring all your die cuts to life.

These sets and so many more are available in the Peachy Keen Stamps Store.

~hugs, Peachy Friends!

Watered Colored Prayers ~ Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is the start of a new Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge

This challenge is a Color/Photo challenge.

This is the photo to follow:

Here is the card I created:

I was inspired by the colors in the photo so I thought I would try something different, at least for me. This is a CAS card but I love the way it come out. I used to Ranger Distress Inks in the following colors: Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade, and Picked Raspberry. Water coloring was so fun and easy. I just sprayed some water on some water color paper, applied the ink to my nonstick mat and sprayed that with water, then used a paint brush to brush on the color. Once I applied all the colors, I spritzed my paper again. I dried it with my heat gun then sprayed it with some Sheer Shimmer Spritz. It's hard to see in the photo but it added a bit of sparkle.

Once dry, I stamped and heat embossed the church image from PKSC-27 March 2014 and added the sentiment from this same set.

It was really super quick and easy!

We would love you to join in the new challenge. Head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Forum to link up your project. I can't wait to see what you create!

Before you go, I want to invite you to take part in the

You can begin the hop here: https://www.facebook.com/kadoodlebugdesigns

There is a bunch of prizes to win!!

I have a card to share in the hop that I will post here at another time.

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...

Let's Shake! ~ with My Scrap Chick

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a shaker card I made using a cut file from My Scrap Chick.

To create this shaker, I began with a rounded square and added the clover from My Scrap Chick's 4 Leaf Clover Trio. I used the shadow of the clover for the center. Once cut, I used the negative for  my card. I used a stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps Spring Fling set and stamped it in green. I filled the window with green and gold sequins.

Twine and another clover was added to finish the card.

This card is being featured on the My Scrap Chick Facebook Fan Page today.

My Scrap Chick is having a 60% off sale that ends today. Hurry over there and pick out some spring files!

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...

So Lucky ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

If you are looking for Peachy Keen Stamps Sneak Peek Day 3 scroll down of click HERE.

A new Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge has begun.

The challenge: Use Green and Gold

I saw a cute little treat holder on Inking Idaho and wanted to recreate it. You can see the original HERE.

I made the file folders in my Silhouette Design Studio. They measure 3x5 inches. I scored them at 2 3/8" and 2 5/8". The shamrock is from Miss Kate Cuttables that was a freebie a few days ago. I stamped the face from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-1370 Kawaii Face Assortment. The sentiment on the tabs is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Mini Messages. The sentiment on the front is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Spring Fling set. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. To finish everything off I added green and gold sequins randomly on the front.

This size file folder is the perfect size for these Gharardelli chocolates. I attached them with glue dots.

Hurry on over the Scrappy Moms Stamps to check out my fellow designers have created.

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...
