Trendspotting with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am posting over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog with this week's Trendspotting feature.

This week's trend is Chevron.

I know you have seen it! Chevron has been quite the trend for a while. I Love chevrons and couldn't wait to incorporate them into my project today!

I just embarked on a new eating plan to, hopefully, help me lose a few pesky pounds! I wanted some thing that would keep my healthful recipes all in one place and, of course, I wanted it to be cute!

This fun box and files were cut using a Silhouette file from Lori Whitlock. It was designed for an A2 card organizer but I liked that my recipe cards could be a nice large size.

I got all of my chevron papers together and used them for the box and files. They are from various paper packs and I thought the colors would work well together.

For the front of the box, I used the cute chef from PKSC-25 January 2014 and colored him with Copic markers. I paper-pieced his pants and towel.

I stamped and paper-pieced the little stamp on the from from PKSC-26 February 2014 and used PK-1384 Retro-bet Round for the letters on my tabs.

This went together easily and now I have cute recipe box that I can leave on my counter for quick access.

I hope you have been inspired to get out your Peachy Keen Stamps and some chevron to make your own project!

Happy Stamping!

Hoppy Easter Treat Box

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Yesterday, a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge began at Scrappy Moms Stamps.

The challenge: "Hippity Hop!"
Make anything you want with an Easter theme.

I have been dying to put together this cute Bunny Top Hat Box from My Scrap Chick and this was the perfect time to do so.

This is so cute and super fun and easy to assemble. The file comes with a bird to put on the hat but I decided to use the egg and flower from the Spring Bunnies cut file, also from My Scrap Chick.

Here's a picture taken from the top.

One with the hat off.

Mt sentiment comes from Scrappy Moms Stamps "For Peep's Sake" set. It is perfect for all you Easter projects! I just stamped it and hand cut my little flag and placed behind my Easter egg.

I hope you will join in the challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps!

We would love to see what you are creating for Easter!

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

For Some Bunny Special ~ My Scrap Chick Inspiration

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing some super quick and easy treat holders from My Scrap Chick.

These are made from the Bunny Treat Holder file. They are perfect to hold a treat and could be mass produced.

You know I love my Peachy Keen Stamps so I opted to use PK-1202 The Moodies 2 1/4 faces. I only used the eyes and they were colored in with Copic Markers and a white gel pen.

Here is a side view of these treat holders:

I secured the flap with some light weight Velcro tabs I've had in my stash.

I added some baker's twine, gems, and a bow made from a Lil' Inkers die.

My sentiment is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-192 Somebunny Special.

My Scrap Chick has lots of fun Easter files! You will most likely be seeing a few more on my blog in the near future.

Make sure to check out the My Scrap Chick Facebook Page for daily inspiration!

Thank you for joining me today!

I cut it to size and added this cute girl from SVG Cutting Files called Burger Stand Britney. Instead of using the face that cuts in the file I added a face from the brand new PK-1386 Bombshell Faces. Love those faces!!

For my sentiment I used PK-1384 Retro-bet Round and PK-1383 The 50's set. I colored the sentiment with Copic markers and added Glossy Accents to the center to cover the 18. The card was finished off with sequins.

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's Day 4 of Peachy Keen Stamps April Sneak Peeks and I am back to share a peek with you.

Pretty in Pink ~ Peachy Keen Stamps April Sneak Peek

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am so excited to share with you a sneak peek of this month's Peachy Keen Stamps release!

If you love retro you are going to love the images and sentiments Kathy has created.

Today the PKS designer's are featuring the following sets:

PK-1383 The 50's
PK-1384 Retro-bet
PK-1380 Checkerboard Background

I created 2 cards for you today.

I love the little poodle image that is included in The 50's set and the Checkerboard Background is so fun!

My sentiment is from the new PKSC-28 April 2014 set.

This second card is a little 3x3 note card. I used The 50's and Retro-Bet for the sentiment. The labels were colored in with Copic markers, as well as, the letters. I, then, added some Glossy Accents to my letters and used my Spica glitter pen for the labels. It's a little hard to see the sparkle but it is there!

Now, it  wouldn’t  be a Peachy Keen Stamps event if we didn’t offer you a chance to win a prize, and no way would we break from that tradition, so here’s what you can do to get a chance to win the stamp sets we’re sneak peeking tonight.
Just leave a comment!  It’s as easy as that, but remember that leaving comments on The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog AND on our designer’s blogs gets you even more chances to win!!  Somebody’s going to be a VERY happy stamper!!
I will be back with more sneak peeks for you so keep an eye out!
There will be a release blog hop Saturday, April 5th where you will get to see the complete release. I hope to see you there!
Thank you for joining me tonight!
Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

You're Egg-stra Special ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is the start of another Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

This week's challenge is "It's A Snap!"

We are looking for projects that include a closure. The design team used Super Strong Magnetic Disks but you can use any closure you want.

For my project I made another gift card holder.

I created a file in Silhouette Designers Studio that holds a gift card perfectly. This cute little bunny come from Miss Kate Cuttables. It was a freebie but you can purchase it HERE.

I added a cute Peachy keen Stamps face from PK-757 Wide Eyed and Bushy-Tailed Face Assortment

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release "For Peeps Sake!"

The following is a picture showing how I hid my closure.

I love these magnetic disks! They are strong. I used Ranger Glossy Accents to adhere them and that seems to work perfectly.

Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to see all the projects that designers have put together.

We would love for you to join us!

Thanks for joining me today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!
